Equipped with Yamaha's potent 450cc four-stroke engine, compact aluminium chassis and renowned KYB suspension developed directly from the class-dominating YZ450F motocrosser, the WR450F is an off-road weapon that's easy to ride fast, extremely capable in technical situations, with the versatility to tackle a wide range of off-road conditions.

Note that Australian WRF models are all supplied in full ADR spec to allow full road registration including indicators, mirrors and horn. A free Off-Road Kit designed for closed course competition use is supplied with each bike. The kit includes brushguards, front fender and lightweight rear light and tail section.

Smartphone Tuning

The free-of-charge Yamaha power Tuner App brings the power of the GYTR Power Tuner to an IOS or Android device, allowing owners to adjust air/fuel mixture and ignition timing, log race set-up information, and monitor a range of data such as maintenance and system diagnosis, engine run time, and more. The newest version of the app has been revised to be more user friendly, with new features including an intuitive simple tuning slide bar for engine mapping, traction control tuning, lap timer and helpful engine and suspension tuning guides.

Bilateral Beam Frame

Bilateral beam frame is 15mm lower at the headtube and has WR450F- specific engine mounts to produce the right combination of strength and flex for the perfect balance of straight-line stability and cornering performance. The result is a better handling machine with lighter feel, more agility and increased traction, allowing the rider to tackle tight, technical trails with greater confidence.
